Biography

As a freelance photographer, my specialty revolves around adventure travel. Expedition style photography is my passion, whether it’s a snow kiting trip on one of the world's largest glacial ice caps, a climbing trip up North America’s highest peaks, or a cultural tour to remote regions around the world, I perform my best at the outer limits.

Inspired by living in the mountains of Alaska for the last 12 years, my photographs reflect the grandeur of a landscape that captures all of our imaginations. I view my subjects as the integral part of an image, the unique piece that provides scale for an overwhelming sense of awe. A mountaineering guide and outdoor educator by trade, I understand the importance of open communication, patience, and teamwork that is required to succeed in the outdoor arena. Having studied at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography, I will provide the highest level of photographic excellence in a professional and timely fashion.
